Diamon-Fusion, the coating we put on our own glass
An optically clear, protective coating applied directly to the glass we install. You can't get Diamon-Fusion just anywhere. Blu's Shower Door is an authorized Diamon-Fusion provider.
Chapter 01
What the coating actually is
Diamon-Fusion is an optically clear coating that goes onto the glass itself, not a wax or a spray you keep under the sink and reapply every few weeks. Once it's on the glass, it resists staining from hard water deposits, which is the single biggest reason a shower door starts to look cloudy, and it makes the surface easier to clean day to day.
The coating also does not support the growth of bacteria on the glass surface, and it takes the harsh, abrasive cleaning products out of the routine entirely. It's guaranteed never to yellow, chip, haze, crack, peel or discolor.

Why it goes on by an authorized applicator, not in a bottle
Diamon-Fusion isn't something you buy off a shelf and wipe on after the fact. It's applied to the glass by an authorized provider as part of the job, which is why we say you can't get Diamon-Fusion just anywhere. Blu's Shower Door holds that authorization, so the coating goes on properly the first time rather than being sold to you as an aftermarket bottle.
That's the whole difference between Diamon-Fusion and the drugstore glass treatments it gets compared to. Those sit on top of the glass and wear off in weeks. Diamon-Fusion is applied to the glass as part of our install, by us.
Chapter 03
The warranty in plain terms, and the cleaning routine that keeps it worth having
Diamon-Fusion carries its own manufacturer warranty, separate from the two year warranty on parts and labor we put behind everything else we install: a lifetime warranty on residential applications and a fifteen year warranty on commercial applications. That's Diamon-Fusion standing behind the coating itself, not us stretching our own general warranty to cover it.
Keeping it worth having is simple, because the point of the coating is that it removes the hard cleaning step altogether. No harsh or abrasive products, no scrubbing at water spots that used to need a razor blade. A wipe down after a shower is most of the routine.
